POINT-GROUND DUO Ulrike Voelcker

Point Ground Duo is a book co-written by Ulrike Voelcker and Sonja Klenke, which presents seven chantilly lace projects with floral designs. It contains 16 colour pages and two fold-out pages with patterns and diagrams. Texts are in German and English. Arzhelabolillos adds the Spanish translation.

As always, this book, Point Ground Duo, proposes newly created projects, with all the necessary explanations to be able to make the lace, diagrams to make the work easier, and data about the colour of the threads to choose, information about the different sizes of the stitches in correlation with the thickness of the thread. Everything you may need!

It also includes references to other books by the author where you will find more techniques that you may need for these works, such as the Grammar of Point Ground, or Von Herzen. The Point Ground Grammar is a book on point ground lace technique where the author tells everything she has worked on to improve the technique, and Von Herzen is a book to work on the whole technique, with small projects, all of them very interesting. Ulrike Voelcker is a renowned designer, especially of Chantilly lace, a lace which she has been able to develop and improve.
Sonia Klenke is a magnificent lace maker and designer, who has worked side by side with Ulrike Voelcker in this work.

In Duo en Tulle, they work on projects for lace makers who have already practised Chantilly lace and Ulrike Voelcker offers a new formula for designing Chantilly lace, improving the way of working and making it suitable for traditional lace making.
